How it works

Built around how a GC actually bids a job: you send drawings, we send numbers you can drop straight into your schedule of values.

1

Send the plan set

Upload the landscape sheets (L-series) and the survey below, or paste your Drive / Dropbox / Procore links. Tell us the bid due date and whether the permit is approved or still in review.

2

Get a line-item bid

We take off the plant schedule and cross-check it against the drawing callouts, then price every item as a unit price installed β€” plants, palms, trees, sod, mulch β€” with scope, exclusions, lead time, crew size and 60-day validity on one PDF.

3

We install to the plan

Our crews deliver, dig, plant, brace per detail, mulch and sod to the approved drawings and the local code, and leave the site inspection-ready. 50% on release, balance on completion.

From the architect's plan to our bid

You send the sheet on the left. We send the PDF on the right β€” every line on the plant list priced per unit, with the plan referenced right on the quote.

What's in every bid

The things you'd otherwise have to ask for.

Takeoff from your schedule

Species, sizes and counts exactly as the landscape architect drew them. Where the callouts and the schedule disagree, we tell you which one we priced.

Unit prices, installed

Each line is a quantity Γ— unit price, so a count change in Miami-Dade or city review re-prices in minutes without a new bid.

🌴

Florida #1 or better

Grades & Standards for Nursery Plants on every item; palms with clear-trunk specs called out; we flag hard-to-source species up front with an alternate for the LA.

πŸ›οΈ

Code & inspection ready

Shade-tree minimums, tip-to-tip hedges, native percentages, mulch rules, root barriers β€” we check the plan against the municipality before we plant, not after the inspector shows up.

πŸ“„

License & COI

General liability, auto and workers' comp certificates furnished on request or with the contract, naming your company as certificate holder if you need it.

πŸ—“οΈ

Clear scope & schedule

Scope, exclusions (irrigation and fine grading by others unless priced), lead time, crew size, days on site and payment terms are all on the quote β€” no surprises at the pre-con.

We know the local codes

Every plan-based job adds to our file of what each city's landscape reviewer and inspector actually requires. A few we work with regularly:

Miami-Dade Chapter 18-A Β· City of Plantation Sec. 27-254 (12 ft / 2.5 in. shade trees, 24 in. shrubs, tip-to-tip screening hedges, no colored or cypress mulch) Β· Pembroke Pines preferred tree list and planting standards Β· Fort Lauderdale and Sunrise tree lists Β· Palm Beach County and municipal codes from Boca Raton to Jupiter.

Who this is for

  • General contractors and custom-home builders closing out a new build or addition that needs the landscape installed to the permit plan
  • Developers and project managers bidding landscape as a sub-scope on single-family, townhome and small multifamily projects
  • Landscape architects who want an installer that follows the schedule and doesn't substitute
  • Property managers and HOAs with an architect-drawn renovation plan

Custom builder, residential addition

Two 45-gal shade trees, front and rear foundation shrubs, equipment-screen hedge, planting soil, melaleuca mulch and whole-lot sod β€” quoted exactly to the City-approved L-101, with the City's plan-review comments checked line by line and a value-engineered revision that kept the plan compliant.

Miami Β· new construction RFQ

General contractor, 2-story single-family

Full plant schedule from a sealed Parametrika set β€” 6 trees, 2 Sylvester palms, 353 shrubs and groundcovers, mulch and 2,500 sq ft of sod β€” priced per unit with alternates, scope and exclusions, lead time and 60-day validity, while the permit was still in Miami-Dade review.

Jupiter Β· concept sketch

Homeowner backyard remodel

Four Montgomery palms, Robellini doubles, layered tropical beds, Podocarpus equipment screen, 46 ft Clusia hedge, mulch and sod β€” taken off a designer's concept sketch with bed areas and hedge runs, plus upgrade options with their price impact.

Questions GCs ask us

Short answers; the long ones are on the quote.

How fast can you turn around a bid from a plan set?
Two business days for a typical single-family set. Send the landscape sheets (L-series) and the survey; we quote every item on the plant schedule as a unit price installed, so a change in plan review re-prices line by line instead of a re-bid.
Do you install exactly what is on the approved plan?
Yes. On a permit-approved plan we quote the schedule exactly β€” species, sizes and counts β€” and we never substitute without the landscape architect's and the City's written okay. If a species is hard to source we flag it up front and propose an alternate for the LA to approve.
Is there sales tax on the install?
No. Installed plant material is a real-property improvement in Florida, so plants, sod and mulch installed by our crews carry no sales tax. Material-only deliveries are taxable.
Can you provide a license number and certificate of insurance?
Yes β€” general liability, auto and workers' compensation certificates are furnished on request or with the contract, with your company named as certificate holder if required.
What do you need from the GC on site?
Finished rough grade free of construction debris, truck access to the lot, irrigation installed and operating before sod goes down, and Sunshine 811 clearance for the planting areas (we call it in). Fine grading, fill and irrigation are by others unless priced.
What is your lead time and how long is the install?
We can usually mobilize 2–3 weeks after release. A typical new-construction lot takes 2–4 working days with a crew of 3–4, with sod on the last day after beds are mulched. Larger scopes are phased with your schedule.
Do you handle the city or county landscape inspection?
We install to the approved plan and the local code (Miami-Dade 18-A, Broward and Palm Beach municipal codes), stake and mulch to spec, and leave the site inspection-ready. We keep a file of each city's requirements from past jobs and will tell you before we plant if something on the plan will not pass.
What are your payment terms?
50% deposit on release, balance on completion. Quotes are valid 60 days. We do not offer net terms.
