Clusters of bright, buttery-yellow flowers cover the branch tips for much of the year, peaking from fall through winter when most other trees are done. Native to Southeast Asia and the western Pacific, it stays small enough for patios, pool areas, and front yards.

Upright clusters of cup-shaped, 1-inch yellow flowers sit at the ends of the branches, followed by thin, flat pods 3–8 inches long that dry to brown. Grown as a single-trunk small tree.
