What's included — and what to have ready
Included with installation: delivery coordination, placement per your layout, planting at correct depth (the most common DIY palm killer is planting too deep), staking for wind where the palm needs it, and cleanup — pots and debris haul away with the crew.
Before the crew arrives: flag sprinkler heads and marked utilities, confirm gate access, and clear the work path — field-grown palms arrive heavy and need a straight shot from truck to hole.
Worked example: pricing a pool-cage privacy screen
A 30-ft line behind a pool cage in 15-gallon arecas at 4-ft centers is about 8 palms — multiply by the 15-gallon installed price in the areca table above and you have the whole job.
