Hedge Installation in South Florida
We grow the hedge, deliver it, and plant it — one crew, one price per plant, no middleman markup. Most installed hedges on our books are clusia, podocarpus, or cocoplum, planted along fence lines and property edges across Palm Beach County.
Hedge installation pricing
Pricing is per plant and includes the plant itself. Clusia, podocarpus, and red tip cocoplum share the same size pricing:

|---|---|---|
| 3-Gallon (8-16") | $7.99 | $14.99 |
| 7-Gallon (24-36") | $29.99 | $44.99 |
| 15-Gallon (4-5ft) | $59.99 | $104.99 |
| 25-Gallon (5-6ft) | $119.99 | $204.99 |

Installation covers delivery coordination, placement along your line, planting, staking where needed, and cleanup. For a solid hedge, plan roughly one plant every 1–4 feet depending on the container size — the hedge spacing calculator turns your footage into an exact count and total.
What's included — and what to have ready
Included with installation: delivery coordination, placement along your line per the agreed layout, planting at correct depth, staking where plants need wind support, and full cleanup — empty pots and debris leave with the crew.
Before the crew arrives: flag your sprinkler heads and any marked utility lines, unlock gates (or send codes), and move vehicles off the work area. If pets use the yard, plan to keep them inside during the work.
Worked example: pricing a 50-ft hedge
Say you want privacy along a 50-ft fence line in 7-gallon clusia. At 2-ft centers that's 25 plants — multiply 25 by the 7-gallon "with installation" price in the table above and that's the whole project: plants, planting, staking, and cleanup. Want it faster? The same 50 ft in 15-gallon at 3-ft centers is 17 plants at the 15-gallon installed price — fewer, bigger plants and near-immediate privacy. The spacing calculator runs this math for any footage and size.
How it works
Which hedge should you install?
Fast privacy in full sun: clusia. Narrow side yards and formal lines: podocarpus. Beachside or canal-front salt exposure: cocoplum. The full comparison — growth speed, spacing, width, salt tolerance — is in our guide: Best Privacy Hedges for South Florida.
"WAY more affordable plants than Home Depot, and the quality of plants delivered were far superior than any nursery I've been to."
